Our river system

IT support across inner Brisbane

Otters keep to a home range along the river, and so do we. Our river system is eight inner-Brisbane suburbs within easy reach of our holt in Fortitude Valley.

No travel fee in the river system. Most fixes happen remotely as part of your plan. When you need us at your desk, anywhere in these suburbs, you pay for our time ($189/hr, and we tell you before we come) and nothing for getting there.

Outside these suburbs? Get in touch anyway. We support businesses across Brisbane remotely, and visits beyond the river system carry one flat $99 travel fee. See on-site rates.

Fortitude Valley

Our holt. Above the shopfronts on Brunswick and Ann Streets sit agencies, studios, tech teams and the head offices of the groups running the Valley's venues. We work here too, so a Valley call-out is usually a walk, not a drive.

Brisbane CBD

Next door to the Valley, the towers around Eagle, Queen and Adelaide Streets are full of law, accounting and finance firms, where a locked mailbox is billable time gone. Firms like these need Microsoft 365 run with care: shared mailboxes that behave, permissions that match who works on what, and every mailbox backed up. And when a firm changes floors or merges offices, we can be there in person with no travel fee.

Newstead

Newstead has reinvented itself around the old gasworks, now Gasworks Plaza, with newer office buildings and mixed-use developments filling the streets between Breakfast Creek and the river. A lot of businesses here are starting fresh in a new fit-out, which is the best moment to set up Microsoft 365, devices and security properly from day one, instead of untangling them later.

Teneriffe

Teneriffe's riverside woolstores were built to hold wool bales. Today they hold apartments, studios and boutique offices, and many of the businesses that chose them are compact, owner-led teams. Those are often the teams where the founder is also, reluctantly, the IT department, and handing that job to us is the whole point.

New Farm

New Farm is mostly homes, but its commercial strips along Brunswick Street and Merthyr Road carry clinics, allied health and small professional practices alongside the cafés. For a practice, the basics matter most: email that's backed up, phishing stopped before it reaches reception, devices kept patched. That's exactly what the Otterly Minimum Standard puts in every plan.

Bowen Hills

Bowen Hills mixes mid-rise offices with the Brisbane Showgrounds and the King Street precinct, and with its train station and the Inner City Bypass it's one of the easier inner suburbs to get in and out of. For teams that split the week between a Bowen Hills desk and somewhere else, Teams, OneDrive and a VoIP line that rings on a laptop or mobile do a lot of the heavy lifting.

Spring Hill

Spring Hill sits on the ridge between the CBD and the Valley. Wickham Terrace has long been a medical address, and the suburb's character offices and old terrace houses now hold specialists, allied health and small professional firms. For specialists who consult across more than one set of rooms, Microsoft 365 keeps email, calendars and files consistent wherever they sit down, and Business Premium adds device management and conditional access on top.

Herston

Herston is anchored by the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and the health and research precinct around it. We don't run hospital systems. We suit the smaller organisations in the precinct's orbit, like specialist rooms, practices and the businesses that support them, which need dependable IT without a hospital-sized IT department.
